1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored as a secure hash via Supabase Auth — we never see or store your password in plain text). When you add a site to audit, we collect the site URL, any competitor URLs you choose to add, and your business details relevant to the audit (e.g. category, target audience).

2. How audits work

Running an audit crawls the publicly accessible pages of the site(s) you submit using an automated browser, and captures screenshots stored on Cloudflare R2. AEO audits send generated test queries (not your personal data) to third-party AI providers — OpenAI, Perplexity, and Google Gemini — to check whether your brand is cited in their answers.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card number or other sensitive payment details — Razorpay handles that directly. All charges are in USD.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies for analytics (PostHog, Google Analytics, Umami) to understand how Ruhavo is used. These only activate after you accept the cookie banner — if you reject or haven't responded yet, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is sent to these providers.

5. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share data with the service providers named in this policy (Supabase, Razorpay, OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, Cloudflare, Resend) as needed to operate the service.

6. Data retention & deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us — see below.

7. Children's privacy

Ruhavo is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
